Come to our "Wonderful Whales" Eco-art workshop.
The last of our Eco-Art workshops running this school holidays. Rachel Bunney is a local professional fabric and scultural eco-artist running workshops and creating art to raise awareness that will help in protecting our environment. During this workshop you will create a whale and learn about our migrating whales that you may see along our coastline during winter.
Have you ever seen the Humpback whales spraying puffs of air and water out of the sea or even jumping out of the water or breaching on their way up or down our coast? In this one hour children’s eco-art workshop you can colour a whale and draw your own whale migration whilst learning about the Humpback whale and their journey from the cold Antarctic waters to the warm north ocean and back again. Colours and materials are provided or you can bring your own.
No experience is necessary to attend the workshop. Each ticket covers 1 child and 1 guardian to attend the workshop along with materials for the workshop. Rachel will guide you through the activity for 1 hour but attendees are welcome to stay longer to finish their masterpieces. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Please arrive at 10:45am to start on time.
If you attend the craft workshop you can get 25% off entry to the Central Coast Marine
Discovery Centre for the whole family! Just pay on the day.
